Chapter 12

“Good morning.” Gwen said, as she snuggled against my chest.

Her left leg was draped over mine, and my hand was resting on the small of her back. A piece of her hair was tickling my nose, and I nuzzled it against her making her giggle. She kissed the crook of my neck, and I gave her a little squeeze.

“How did you sleep?” I asked.

“So good.” She sighed, with content.

“Me too, Tiger.”

“So, what do you have planned for this beautiful Saturday morning?” She teased, as she ran her hand playfully over my bare chest.

“I have a gig tonight... I was thinking about looking for a car today.”

“Really?” She asked excitedly, as she propped herself up on her elbow.

I laughed. “Well yeah, I was going to wait until after I graduated, but I've been saving money for a while now and with the extra bonus I received the other night... I think I can find something pretty decent. That, and I wouldn't have to call an Uber anymore.”

“Can I come?”

“You don't have to work today?”

“Nope.” She smiled. “I'm all yours.”

I pulled her back into my arms and kissed her, enticing another smile from her lips. We laid there for a while, just kissing softly. My hands roamed her back, and hers tangled in my hair, rubbing my scalp tenderly. When we finally stopped, her lips were red and swollen and she licked them absentmindedly.

“We should probably hit the showers.” She groaned.

“Meet you there? I need to go grab a few things from my room.”

“OK.” She said, before rolling onto her back so that I could climb out of the bed.

When I stood, she quickly rolled back and smacked my ass. I jumped from the sting, before turning around to catch her hiding her laughter behind her hands. I shook my head, as I grabbed my boxer briefs from the floor and pulled them on. When her laughter had finally died down, I was putting my shoes on, and when I pulled my shirt over my head she too climbed out of bed.

“You're no fun.” She said, reaching for her robe and slipping her arms into it.

“I just wasn't expecting it.” I said with a smirk.

She crossed her robe over her chest, and tied the belt tightly around her waist before stepping towards me.

“I've been told that I'm pretty unexpected.”

“That you are, Tiger.”

She leaned up to press her lips to mine, before giving me a little shove towards the door.

“Hurry up.” She teased.

“Yes, ma'am.” I winked.

She shook her head, and tried to hide her smile as I quickly slipped away before she could chastise me for using the 'm' word again. I pulled her door shut behind me, and quickly made my way down the long hall that led to my dorm. It was only eight AM so I wasn't even sure if Colt would be awake yet, in fact I was banking on the fact that he wasn't.

When I stepped inside I was surprised to see him sitting on the love seat playing a video game.
